It’s not too good to be true…it is, in fact, true, all NMEDA members will have access to FREE advertising and marketing materials like print ads, radios spots, web banners and even TV commercials. As time goes by and momentum of the Awareness Program builds, more and more marketing materials will become available for NMEDA dealers to personalize and run in their markets…thus reinforcing the other nine points in the Top Ten Benefits of a NMEDA National Awareness Program.

#2. Research & Benchmarking!
As an added feature to launching a national awareness campaign, NMEDA will conduct consumer research to ensure the best message is created and then sent to the most appropriate target. This component will provide NMEDA members with access to qualified and quantified consumer research. The research can be used for setting standards and goals on a yearly basis. Specifically, it will seek out demographic profiles, consumer influencers, customer segmentation and desired consumer lifestyle benefits. The research can even answer specific questions YOU provide via the Feedback Section.

#3. Ramp Up Sales!
By launching a national awareness campaign and increasing visibility in the automotive mobility marketplace, it should go without saying that new and repeat sales would follow.

The more people know about NMEDA, the more likely they are to be aware of mobility products. For the record, WE DO NOT mean cell phones. And the more likely they are to realize their lives could benefit from YOUR mobility products.

#4. Grow Taller & Wider!
A national awareness program gives manufacturers and dealers exposure in national publications and media outlets to help streamline the message and properly inform the masses living with or affected by disabilities. NMEDA members will hardly believe their eyes when they explore the proposed media plan

#5. Issue Advocacy!
More than just a public relations effort, issue advocacy will be included in the national awareness program. NMEDA members will find themselves face to face with their political representatives. How? Via an issue advocate, hired by NMEDA, with expertise in the mobility products sector. You might know it as lobbying for your cause, but soon, you’ll also know it to be very effective for the NMEDA cause.

#6. Attract New Customers!
When the multi-media, national awareness program is in full swing, both new and potential customers will be able to find NMEDA/QAP dealers with the click of a mouse. It’s true, once you properly inform people of the value of NMEDA, you can actually tell consumers exactly how to find a qualified NMEDA dealer in their area to assist them with becoming better “abled.”

#7. Online Presence!
The NMEDA National Awareness Program will include an optimized interactive component to enhance our online presence. Meaning, all members will gain an ACTUAL competitive advantage over those VIRTUAL, Internet-only dealers. It's still essential to tell your customers why buying from a dealer who can provide an in-person evaluation and product demonstration, is much better than going through a sight unseen salesperson for a multitude of reasons.

#8. Increased Do's!
Please don't confuse all the great things launching a national, multi-media awareness program will DO for NMEDA members with "Increased dues"! The ultimate goal is to put more money in our dealers' pockets, not take it out. To generate funds for this program we have asked our manufacturer members to add a .5% (one-half of one percent) Awareness Fund Contribution to NMEDA member invoices. Contributions will be collected into a restricted account and used expressly for the purpose of advertising and promoting NMEDA members.

#9. Streamline & Unify!
By launching a multi-media, national awareness program comprised of consistent brand messages with similar tone, language, images/graphics and objectives, each of the over 600 NMEDA/QAP members will establish a focused marketing approach with a unified voice in the mobility marketplace. Consistent media messages, from print to radio and direct mail to online banners, will accomplish so much for NMEDA manufacturer and dealer members.

#10. Heighten NMEDA & QAP value & brand awareness.
NMEDA is launching a multi-media, national awareness campaign. This campaign will benefit NMEDA and QAP members, as well as those affected by physical disabilities. That means added value to the membership—and people's lifestyles. As awareness grows, the demand for mobility products and solutions delivered or installed by a qualified NMEDA dealer will follow. Numerous case studies prove the advantages industry and association campaigns have experienced.
